As part of the legacy of the Tour de France, Yorkshire Bank Bike Libraries have been established across the county in a bid to give every child in Yorkshire free access to a bike. Set up by Welcome to Yorkshire and supported by Yorkshire Bank, the scheme has already delivered over 51,000 opportunities to cycle at over 47 bike libraries, using bikes donated by the people of Yorkshire.
